Outpatient Services
The Ke' Na' Has
Dlii Outpatient and Aftercare Programs since its inception in mid 1999, has
developed itself into being one vital source of continuing care for the
relatives who have completed the Eagle Plume Society and Regional Residential
Treatment Programs. The Outpatient Program at the present time is staffed with
Traditional Counselors who provide Outpatient and Aftercare follow-up on a daily basis.
The range of
services provided is designed to enhanced and cultivate a sober life style that uses the existing Dine'
and cultural and spiritual practices. Our goal is to reduce the
incidence of public intoxication in Gallup and McKinley County areas, reducing the number of protective custody intakes.
Services provided are in the areas of traditional counseling, traditional
healing, community trainings, and gatherings such as the Dine' Traditional
Winter stories and games. The program is also working with other agencies within
the communities to coordinate various activities and to continue outpatient and aftercare
services to further develop a support system for the relatives who have retuned
to the community and their families.
