A Bridge to Recovery
Intervention Counselor - Roger Daw
The Intervention Department makes sure that the Relatives who are brought in off the street are processed in our Intake area, as well as provide basic first aid and treatment.  Our Intervention department works hand in hand with our BHT staff.  Intervention will communicate with Relatives as to why they are repeatedly coming into NCI.

Relatives that want to continue to become or stay sober will ask for help.  Relatives usually don't know the process to continue treatment outside of NCI for longer periods, Intervention assists Relatives to continue on to treatment either in state or out of state.  Another part of Mr. Daw's job is to compile statistics for our intakes monthly.

Protective Custody Intervention: After people are detoxified the Protective Custody Intervention counselor intervenes with the chronic repeaters to motive them in to treatment.

Intervention assists those that may need clothing, many come in with just what they are wearing.  It is so important for NCI to have extra clothing, shoes and jackets.  If you would like to donate any of these items please contact our finance dept. and they will give direction as to where they can be dropped off.  If you would like to donate socks or under clothing; they must be in new condition.  If you have questions for our Intervention dept. please call ext. 116.
